This was my second pair of Chacos. I originally bought them for the adjustable webbing and the clasp. The first pair was long ago. I liked them a lot but they were heavy and ultimately split in half where they flexed (they did sit in the closet for a long period just before they split). This second pair is better than the first ones. Maybe it is the Cloud that makes them more flexible and lighter - or maybe it is just newer technology now days. Whatever it is, I really like them!

Ive been wearing the same pair of Chacos for over 6 years now and decided it was time to get a new pair. I had heard that the ZCloud Chacos were very comfortable so I bought this pair. The reviews were correct. They are soooo comfortable. Right out of the box I could tell a big difference between my old sandals and these new ones. If youre just thinking about getting some, do it. I will typically walk 6-8 miles in them per day and not once have I ever had sore feet. These are a must have for any walker or hiker. Note that I typically wear a 9.5 in mens and in these I wear an 8. Strange but they seem to run big.

Ive owned Chacos for a lot of years. In fact, I have tan lines on my feet year round that seem to be permanent. The Zcloud has a more comfortable/cushioned feel vs the original, but something seems off in the heal area. The feel just after the arch on the inside of my foot near the heel doesnt seem right which causes the straps to rub. I would prefer my original Z1s

Very comfortable! It’s hard for me to find shoes or sandals that are comfortable since I’ve had many broken bones in my feet over the years, but these are great! Hopefully they keep the comfort and support they have when new for at least a year, that’s a good length for me. Also it’s hard to find shoes for me since I typically wear a size 16w but I got these in a 15m after a family member said they ordered down a size, and they fit perfectly. My wife on the other hand got hers at her normal size of 8 and they fit her perfectly so I would say these are true to fit overall.

These definitely weren’t my first pair of Chaco’s. But I will say they are way more comfortable then the older ones. I got almost 20 years of hard core use out of my first pair. They saw days and days of river and lake use.But I had to retire them. In 2006 I bought my second pair, they were horrible. I was never able to wear them for long periods of time. So..... of coarse went back to old faithful. Thank you Chaco for listening and creating a sandal that is even better than the original.
