This shoe is fantastic for every day business attire. It is very comfortable (Clarks always are) and looks great with a suit! I saw this same pair at the Clarks outlet and it retails for $90 so this is a great deal. I bought the black leather first and loved them so much I bought the brown leather too. For this style of shoe and level of comfort, you cant beat the price point!

For the price, these are a great value. Super comfortable. I was looking for a shoe I could wear all day. Usually, this means you need rubber soles (no wood). You cant resole many one-piece rubber sole heels, but thats fine. Rarely do I do that since the top of the shoe shows so much wear, it makes me want to get a new pair of shoes no matter how much shoe-shining I do. I own Saks 5th Avenue brand shoes, Cole Haan, and many other pricey shoes. Sure these Clarks dont look as sharp as Italian-made shoes. But Clarks are comfortable. With this particular shoe, they struck the right balance between fashionable and functional--a rare feat indeed! My feet are normal width (D). Half my shoes are 11, the other 10.5. I got these in 10.5 and they fit fine. The toe box is only slightly snug, but Im hoping they will stretch out in a month or so. I probably should have done 11s. If you are in the middle like me, err on a half size larger. I had a chance to try these on at a store (hesitated to buy at first). The toe box is long and the 11 seemed kind of big, so I went down a notch. In hindsight, 11 was the right size. I couple things I could do without are the side slits that have elastic. They are minimal though. And at the end of the day, you probably dont need to untie your shoes to kick these off, but I dont recommend that. I was also not crazy about the inner lining. It kind of looks like pleather, to be totally honest. Either that or its super thin and shiny leather. They have a cheap look to them on the inside, but who cares because you dont see them. Overall, great shoes. Way to go Clark! These ones are winners and they look great with suit pants or nice jeans.

I bought these shoes to be "everyday" office wear while I would reserve the Bostonians for out of office meetings, lunches, etc. Well these can be worn for top meetings and look good with suits. And, like Clarks normally are, they fit like a glove from the get-go. They have rubber soles so they are very quiet. They are narrower and slightly longer than my normal cap-toes but you get used to that quickly. Ive worn them for three weeks, so well see how they last. Id buy the brown pair, but Id rather have a cordovan shade. UPDATE: After 15 months of wearing these nearly 5 days a week, I still like them. BUT, one thing I noticed after a few months. The OrthoLite insole started to deteriorate. It has now worn deeply away under the ball of my big toe to the point of discomfort. I tried a Dr. Scholls insole replacement but they make the shoe too tight. The Ortholite insole is built in and cant be pulled out and replaced. Its a shame because the uppers and sole of the shoe are still in great shape.

1st: amazingly comfortable dress shoes right from the start. Cushion insole and thick leather inside lining make these shoes feel like marshmallow butter. 2nd: sizing: for reference I wear a 8.5 D in New Balance, a 9 in Nike, anywhere from 8-9 in other Clark’s. In these I went with 8.5 medium and they fit perfect. Don’t listen to other reviewers telling you to go a full size down, unless you also go wide width instead of medium, but the toe box will likely still be cramped if you go that low. 3rd: Price seems to fluctuate a lot on these on amazon. I paid $52. For comfort and quality (but not necessarily style) I’d pay $70-80 gladly. But I’m cheap. Probably worth $100

First impressions: Fit well, very comfortable, my feet stay dry. Only complaint is that it makes a squeaky noise on polished cement flooring while walking. Will update this after a couple of weeks Update 5/14/18 Wore these shoes 5 days a week for 7 months and they still have some life to them. Bought another pair since they were already getting old but no major scratches were evident. These shoes are still usable with the original laces... Quality shoe. The only con is that they made a louder noise when walking but were still comfortable. Update 1/5/19 My second pair is still holding up. Used to buy cheap non-name brand for 1/2 the price but had to repurchase a new pair after a month 1/2 of used. Totally recommended these shoes, best bang for your buck!
