I have been a big Cole Haan fan and own another pair of Cole Haan wingtips that I love. I was expecting the same quality product when I purchased these online. Within the first week of wearing these shoes the insert started to fall apart and bunched up causing a lot of discomfort in my sole when I walked. I hope this was a one-off defect, and would be happy to rescind this review, if Cole Haan can fix this for me.

I initially disliked the shoe as I though it was too flashy with white laces and was slightly too big. (I always wear a 10 D and this felt more like an 11). However, I needed the shoes right away so I switched the laces with brown and went on my way. Unfortunately the insole fell apart within about 6-8 wears. It bunched up and became very uncomfortable, like a rock was in my shoe. I wouldnt recommend these shoes to anyone.

Okay these are dress style shoes so I ordered 1/2 size smaller than what I wear in athletic shoes, and the same size I have in other cole haans. These are ok- I thought they would be more comfortable, but they’re kind of stiff, not like the stretchlite material. Support is good. Just waiting for them to break in. Glad I got them for about 1/2 price or I would have sent them back and exchanged for the stretchlite material shoes.

I ordered these shoes for my trip to ideal Italy. I needed something that would be comfortable but still look semi stylish. These shoes seemed to fit the bill. They were fairly comfortable that is why I gave it 2 stars vs 1. The shoes cracked essentially on the second day. I would expect this from shoes that cost far less, but at roughly $100 this was very disappointing. I dont think Ill wear these after this trip.

I bought these for my husband to take on a business trip that would have him on his feet a lot, but he could not wear sneakers. He said they were awesome. No need to break them in. He highly recommends them!
