I needed some dress shoes for my Class A uniform and I needed them quick. These got the job done. I stood at attention for 15 minute increments and these were very uncomfortable. They looked good but did not feel good. They were shiny and looked sharp. They got the job done for what I needed and the urgency, but my feet paid the price. You pay for what you get.

These are great patent leather shoes. My Bates patent leather shoes from the military clothing store (AAFES) cracked twice, so I refused to buy another pair of Bates shoes, until I tried other products. So far, so good. The Rothco shoes look great, seem well-built, and cost about $30 less. However, ignore the confusing sizing advice and make sure you order your normal shoe size. The note on the description says "Rothco boots tend to run a half size to a full size too large." Of course, the note is true for most boots, but these are Rothco shoes, not boots. I followed the advice and had to return my first pair of shoes for another in my normal size. I also recommended to the company that they remove this comment, since it is misleading and should only be included with their boots. Im not sure how long it will take them to update their description. Other than that, Ive been very happy with the shoes.

I needed some good shoes to use with my tuxedo for a Christmas party. These seemed to be a good buy. I received them in a short period of time and was very please with the fit and the looks of them. I wear an 11d and that was what I ordered. I wore a thin sock and you might go a half a size larger if your feet swell.

These shoes are an absolute must have for any sort of dress uniform. They seem to be decent quality and they are litteraly always shiny. The most you may need to do is dust them off. For the price these are very comparable to more expensive options. Fit just slightly tighter than expected, but it is a "dress" shoe not a sneaker...

Beautiful shoe upon first sight. Spilled a small drop of baby lotion on one shoe by mistake and immediatey wiped, but it seemed to have went through the gloss. So the quality of the material is questionable. They run rather large (which is not necessarily bad), but finally got the right size. Buyer beware, depending on the Seller, there is a 15 per cent restocking fee for returning shoes, so you will NOT get your full refund back and often this information is not in the Amazon site where the shoes are purchased. Commando Go Gear, (I think this is the correct name) is one who does this. It also seems that if you buy from one seller and they dont have a particular size, they will go to another distributor to get the size desired. The only draw back to this is you dont really know where the shoes are coming from. It seems Commando Go Gear must have gone to someone called Pro-Motion Distributing-Direct to get my desired size. I did not purchase from that company, but from Commando Go, so it is somewhat confusing. Anyway, shoes look very good, fits nicely, but quality is somewhat questionable as time will tell.
