Shipping & Payment Policy
1. GLOBAL LOGISTICS OVERVIEW At OTTO, we are proud to offer worldwide shipping from our central distribution hubs located in Fabriciusstrasse 105a Hamburg, 22177 Germany. Whether you are shopping from New York, London, or Tokyo, we strive to deliver your fashion essentials swiftly and securely.
2. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH
- Processing Time: Standard orders are processed within 1–2 business days following payment verification.
- Weekend Operations: Please note that our warehouses operate Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or US federal holidays will be processed the next business day.
- Order Tracking: Upon dispatch, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s portal (UPS, FedEx, or DHL).
3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA) We offer tiered shipping options for our customers within the 48 contiguous United States:
- Standard Ground: Estimated 4–6 business days. Free for orders over $99.
- Expedited: Estimated 2–3 business days. Calculated at checkout based on weight.
- Priority Overnight: Next business day delivery (orders must be placed before 12:00 PM EST).
- Note for Alaska, Hawaii, & APO/FPO: Please allow an additional 2–4 business days for delivery.
4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING We ship to over 200 countries via DHL Express Worldwide and FedEx International Connect.
- Estimated Delivery: Typically 5–12 business days, depending on destination and local customs clearance speeds.
- PO Boxes: We are unable to ship to international Post Office (PO) Boxes. A full street address and valid contact number are mandatory.
5. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES & CUSTOMS (IMPORTANT) For all orders shipped outside the USA, OTTO operates on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
- What this means: The total amount you pay at checkout covers only the item price and shipping cost. It does not include local VAT, import taxes, or brokerage fees.
- Your Responsibility: As the importer of record, you are responsible for paying these fees to the carrier upon delivery.
- Customs Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country.
- Refused Shipments: If you refuse a package due to import fees, the package will be abandoned or returned to us. In this case, we will deduct the original shipping cost, return shipping fees, and a 25% handling fee from your refund.
6. PAYMENT METHODS We accept a wide range of secure payment options:
