I struggle to find a belt that looks good on my body type. Unfortunately, this belt just doesnt work well for my shape. However the belt is very pretty and appears to be well made. Ill probably pass it on to someone who will be able to use it. **Update** I apparently just needed the right outfit for it. Today I purchased a dress that its perfect with. See the photo. 2nd update** I now wear this belt several times a week. Plan to purchase another similar belt in a thinner style.

Im really pleased with this belt. I bought White to make sure it really stood out as I planned to wear it primarily with leggings and larger tunic tops to accentuate the waist without ruining the drapey look of tunics with leggings. I wore this with a deep brown tunic, printed brown/rust/white leggings, and brown high boots for Thanksgiving. Not only was is comfortable.... but I felt fashionable and coordinated, too. The belt is textured and the clasp is basic, sturdy, and gleams a nice silver (metal not plastic). The White is true White and the width of the belt is just right for waist-cinching looks. It is stretchy with give, but not thin or cheap. I didnt find that it rode up or down much and it stayed in place without rolling or losing the sturdy shape. Im am 57 and about a Size 8, but dont have much "waist" curve so I bought large to be safe since tunics are rather bulky. This was plenty large enough and medium would have fit well, too. But even if you buy a bit bigger it shouldnt matter too much since this is a thick and stretchy belt. Im really pleased with everything about this purchase, including the amazing price. Ill definitely be purchasing more colors and styles of this belt and recommend it to anyone looking to spice up tunics, blouses, or dresses! Fabulous purchase!

Nice and simple wide belt. Im a pear shape and I wear a lot of soft knits, so I really need something to define my shape at the smallest point. My waist measures 34.5" at the place Id wear this belt, so I ordered both an M and a L. The L fits loosely but still snug enough to stay on, and the M stil fits (and makes my waist look much smaller) but might be uncomfortable for longer wear. For this price, Im keeping them both to accomodate monthly bloat variations and food babies. :) Just wish it came with a less shiny hardware, like black or a gunmetal gray. EDIT: Having worn the belt for a week or so, the M is perfectly comfortable. So if your waist measures 34 or 35, Id definitely go with size M.

Well made, it seems, but inconsistent. I bought two size smalls, one in black, the other ivory. The ivory is over 2 1/2 inches shorter than the black. They are the same the same brand, and supposedly the same size...but 2 1/2 inches, even for something elastic, seems a pretty significant difference.

Has lots of stretch, doesnt immediately roll up like other wide belts, clasp is easy and stays put. I would buy this again in other colors. Im a size 18/20 pants and I bought an XL to fit around the small of my waist and its almost too big. With as much stretch as it has I couldve gotten a L.
