These jeans say they are skinny in the description, they arent. I would say they are maybe classified as slim, at best. Very baggy around the ankles. The fit from the calves up is fine, but I purchased these specifically because of the skinny description. Ill be returning them.

I have another pair of "Levis mid Rise Skinny Jeans in black, but both are 16L - this is the second pair I have tried to order and they are at least an inch shorter than the first pair. I fit into the 16L in black, but the 16L in blue were too short - I think the original ones came as a 34 inch inseam. These do say 33" - which for most tall gals isnt quite the same. They also had different Levi tags. So, if you love a good fitting Levi and want the longer ones, try to find the ones with the same tag that is there on the black pair. (See pix)

My usual rule is to not buy jeans online. Jeans are something you usually have to try on. So I was prepared to have to return these, particularly since Ive not in the past been fond of mid-rise jeans. These, however, are almost perfect. They have a nice amount of stretch, so theyre very, very comfortable. They are highly flattering. Theyre nice enough to wear with dressy shoes or boots, nice top, and good jewelry for my job (which is what I was looking for since I despise wearing slacks and dresses). The only quibble I have with these jeans is that the front pockets are extremely shallow and cant hold things like my car keys, and they have a tendency to come untucked. In the grand scheme of things, however, I dont consider it a deal-breaker. The weight of the material on the jeans seems to be such that theyll be durable (particularly since they wont be subjected to rough use), and I may simply put a couple of stitches through the front pockets to secure them and use the quite sturdy belt loops to hold my keys when necessary, instead. These jeans make me so happy that theyre worth mending or making minor alterations. In short, I absolutely love these things. I ended up buying two pairs in this color, and four other pairs in three more colors, all of which fit perfectly. I was able to weed out a bunch of pairs of jeans that I wasnt terribly fond of and I drastically simplified my wardrobe just because my six new pairs of comfortable awesome-looking jeans that fit perfectly worked out.

Levis just cant seem to get their sizing consistent across styles. These were ridiculously small although I order this size in other Levi styles.

A few weeks ago I bought these jeans in the color gray and they fit perfectly. Im 5 8" tall and about 120 pounds. So I decided to take a chance and buy them again in the soft clean white color. (I had read all the reviews about inconsistent sizing; these jeans had free returns included, so I decided to take the chance and place the order). The white jeans fit perfectly too! They fit close to my body, which is what I like. Im very happy with them. Ive been buying Lucky jeans the last several years (Lola/Lolita fit) and for some reason their white version never fits properly over my butt. The pockets sit way too low and end up creasing up and looking really strange. Also, I was worried that perhaps these Levis would have too high a rise because Im used to lower rise jeans. The rise of these jeans is fine for my body type, and not so high that theyll be obviously out of style when high rise jeans are go out of fashion again. The only negative thing that Id say about these jeans is that the front pockets are very shallow (i.e. not deep at all). So if youre used to putting lots of stuff in your front pockets you may not be happy.
