Purchased these Optical White converse through Amazon Prime Wardrobe. I am fairly certain they are fake. The logo doesnt have a star in the O and the box is all wrong. Even the tissue paper feels different. Returning these.

Honestly, I was a little nervous after I purchased these because I read the reviews AFTERWARDS, and people were saying they got fakes and stuff. I just got them in the mail today and they came in the original box and were the exact same size as my other Converse’s. I am normally an 8 in women’s (so I got a men’s size 6) in the white ones. They fit perfectly and appear to be genuine. I only paid around $39-40 for these with free prime shipping! I was also nervous about the sizing being off as some people here stated, but I’m glad I ordered my actual size :) Also wanted to mention that if you’re the same size as me, you can also go to your local shoe store and get the youth/juniors size 6 and they should fit exactly like a women’s 8 as well, and they’re usually under $30! ;) just a little tip

Exactly as described. Very pleased with them! FYI... sizing with this particular Converse style runs large. I wear a size 7 in womens, which would typically be a size 5 in mens. In these, I wear a 4 /2.

I bought these as a gift for my son. These are the third pair of Warhol Converse Ive bought him and so far theyre his favorite. One thing that should be pointed out (and perhaps it was and I missed it), is that these are not traditional canvas. They are more of a slick, waterproof material (similar to oil cloth, but not glossy.) This is a plus for him because he likes that they dont get dirty as easily and when they do, they can be wiped clean. Because of that he is wearing them more often than his canvas pairs, but that may not be a plus for everyone.

I’ve been wearing converse now for several years now as my go to shoe. I find them to be very comfortable and I really like the style. However, after accepting the need to buy a new pair every 4-6 mos I think I’ve had my fill of this shoe. They fall apart. Literally. It’s not like other shoes where the fabric and sole wear over time. These simply fall apart after use. Today I was walking and it was wet outside (not raining) and I noticed my sock was getting saturated. I didn’t step in any puddles so I stopped to check and noticed the bottom of my shoe sole by the front left pinky toe had separated and there was now a gap between the white shoe lining and the sole of the shoe. I could fish my finger through the hole and touch my foot. Initially I had though “well it’s time to get a new pair” but I reconsidered and realized that that was insanity. This shoe was a piece of crap. It’d be one thing if the shoe was inexpensive, but it’s not. $50 is a considerable price. I have other shoes at the same price point that have lasted YEARs. So net net, it’s an iconic poorly made shoe. Two stars only because I do like the style, but quality just isn’t there.
